A lighting object composed of bundled linear elements made of transparent and opaque materials arranged in multiple layers around a central light source. The uniformly emitted light repeatedly reflects and refracts as it passes through these layers changing its form before emerging outward. Light is treated as a material itself and the process of its transmission is designed. The structure references traditional Japanese rantai lacquerware techniques where linear materials are bundled and unified into a single form.
