Multiple solid woods — each carrying distinct histories of growth, grain, and rate of change — are integrated without homogenisation into a single three-dimensional structure. The series reinterprets traditional Japanese joinery concepts through contemporary precision fabrication, arriving at a state where different identities coexist (Coexist) within the daily act of eating.

The work is not oriented toward a finished state, but toward one that continues to stabilise while quietly changing through use over time.

無垢材は、それぞれ異なる時間を生きてきた素材である。本作では、そうした違いを揃えたり、均質化したりすることなく、ひとつの器として並べて用いている。組み合わされた材は、使い続ける時間のなかで、異なる表情を見せていく。その差異を受け入れながら、関係が失われることなく、少しずつ変化していくことを前提としている。完成された状態を固定するのではなく、使われる時間のなかで安定し続けながら、静かに変わっていくこと。
